For an extra layer of protection, we now support the ability to only allow traffic using your API keys within a provided set of IP ranges. Please reach out to us if you’re interested in setting IP allowlists up for you API keys.

Today, we are releasing a refresh of the Company Tax Setup Component’s Design to Production. This update brings the Tax Setup Component into our updated design system, built to be neutral and customizable to fit better contextually in our partner’s products. The general structure and functionality of this component remains the same.

‍We released this update in Sandbox on Thursday 7/25/24, and are now releasing this update in Production.

We are excited to announce the Tax Elections API, which allows you to view and edit the tax profile and exemption settings for companies and employees.

This API represents a first step towards including more “building blocks” of payroll in Check API, and allowing users to directly create customized tax profiles for unique tax and payroll situations: for example, H-2A workers, Temporary Work Visas, and more.

After completing an Embedded Setup, Check will generate three new types of Setup Documents:

• A payroll journal that contains the historical payrolls loaded
• A benefits configuration CSV
• A post tax deductions CSV

These will be available in the Setup Documents section in Console after an Embedded Setup is completed, and will additionally be available in the Setup Documents API. This feature will be available in Sandbox later today, and will be released in Production on July 24.
